Enjoy the breathtaking natural beauty, including the magnificent Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls, that you pass as you make your way to the charming hill town of Munnar. When you get to Munnar, check into your hotel, then relax for a while. The remaining portion of your first day in Munnar is yours to do as you please. A restful overnight stay at the Munnar hotel completes the day.

  • Day : 2

    Munnar Sightseeing/ Leisure

After breakfast the following morning, explore Mattupetty Dam, a lovely location for viewing picturesque Munnar, and Kundala Lake, a natural lake with boating amenities and a great view of the surrounding forest and the Western Ghats. Visit Eco Point and the tea plantations as well. You can visit Eravikulam National Park in the afternoon, which guards the critically endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Later, return to your resort to spend the night.

  • Day : 3

Thekkady (Hill station Village, Wild Life Sanctuary, and Spice Plantation)

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and travel the 100 km (or 4 hours) to Thekkady, Kerala’s premier wildlife destination. It is also known as the spice bag of the state. You can travel in style through the hills and valleys of the Western Ghat to reach this jungle location. Visit the Periyakanal Waterfalls, the Gap Road Viewpoint, and take an elephant ride through a spice plantation tour that includes tea, coffee, tea, pepper, and cardamom plantations.

After checking into your hotel, take a memorable boat ride on Periyar Lake, which flows through the Periyar Tiger Reserve. As they roam the two shores, you will have the chance to see wild animals like elephants, bison, sambars, deer, and others. In the evening, shop for garden-fresh spices at a nearby spice market and choose to attend optional Kalarippayattu and Kathakali performances. In Thekkady, stay the night.

Along the way, you’ll pass by a wide range of people, events, and breathtaking scenery. Sit back and relax as the boat cruises through the serene, albeit congested, backwaters, rivers, and canals. A welcome drink, lunch, afternoon tea or coffee with snacks, dinner, and breakfast are all served on board. Enjoy your evening in the sand that has been exposed to the sun.
